Tangra (band)

Tangra (Bulgarian:Тангра) is Bulgarian rock band founded in 1976 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The group is one of the most popular Bulgarian rock band from the '80s, '90s and nowadays.
== History ==
Founders of the band are the musicians Konstantin Markov (guitar), Alexander Petrunov (vocal), Vasil Naydenov (piano) and Marcel Baruch (drums). The band accompanied the singers Yordanka Hristova, Bogdana Karadocheva and other pop singers on their concerts. In 1978 they created the band's first plate with the songs "Ако имаш време"(If it had time) и "Пътища"(Roads). In 1979 Cvetan Vladovski was invited to be the new vocal of the group. Anton Bubev was drummer after Marcel Baruch left the band. Since 1981 Emil Gerasimov became a drummer of the band.
The '80s started the second period from the creativity of Tangra. Since 1983 Tangra began to create their songs in the genre "new wave". The third period came with coming of Yordan Ganchev – "Dani" (piano). After 1989 the band started to play for a few years in Finland.
